At EQT Partners we are always looking for talented experienced professionals. Our model is to recruit associates with one to four years of experience and to grow and develop our staff internally. In some cases we also recruit at more senior levels. Interesting backgrounds are management consulting, investment banking as well as Private Equity. At EQT we have the following career stages for our investment professionals
Associate – An associate will have up to 8 years of working experience. As an Associate you contribute to all aspects of doing transactions as well as working with the portfolio companies.
Director – A Director will normally have at least six years of experience as an associate or other relevant work experience. As a Director you have the capability to act as a project manager for transactions.
Partner – After a number of years as a Director (3-6 years) a promotion may be considered to Partner. As a Partner you are responsible for the performance of the investments.
